It’s hard to believe that this is my 38th year involved with Nova’s! It all started in 1981 when I was looking for parts for my ’65 Nova SS. I began buying parts that I didn’t need in hopes of trading for parts that I did need. And it worked!

To date, we have parted out more than 300 Nova’s! The availability of used parts was so good that it wasn’t long before I started building up an inventory to fill the needs of Nova owners and dealers and it even went so far that I began to make some of the items that I couldn’t find.

Creating Custom Nova Parts

The first part I ever made was a block conversion bracket for the ’62-’67 clutch linkage. Then we created reproduction clutch adjustment rods and before long we were doing other components that were in demand and were all made in-house! Just remember to stay safe while working under the hood.

For example, the ends of round steel parts are heated red and then made flat with a large hammer on a piece of real railroad track, which is harder than an anvil! (Don’t worry though, I didn’t take the rail out the track system, a state worker allowed me to cut off what I needed from a 10-foot remnant he had in his workshop!)

Here we are in 2018 and nothing has changed! As a testament to how far we’ve come, our blog has nearly doubled in content with used parts and manufactured items that make up a large segment of our business. One of our customers once called us the “meat and potatoes” of the Nova parts industry. And believe me, we take that to heart and attempt to only put hardcore Nova parts into our blog. If you want fluff, you’ll have to shop somewhere else!

Of course, we wouldn’t be where we are without the hard work and dedication of our employees and suppliers. So it’s only fitting that I dedicate this blog to my family who somehow puts up with my work ethic and to all of our dedicated employees. But most of all, we appreciate YOU the customer for helping us stay in business since our incorporation in 1993!

My team and I look forward to helping you complete the car of your dreams. Have a great day!

We may have one or two pieces, but not a full set. We are looking to see what we have exactly.

I am looking for the trim pieces for a '63 Nova convertable. The pieces are call well trim with the boot snaps. I also need the middle side chrome strips. I have two of the three pieces for each side.
