Are you having door weatherstrip fitment issues on your first gen Nova?

On some Nova doors we have found, the door weather strip pin mounting holes are too large for the pin attached to the weatherstrip. Most of these situations seem to be from the 1963 model year. If your Nova is not a `63 and you are still having this problem, the door on your car could have been replaced during its 55 year life.

Our customers know us as the Nova problem solvers, so here is the remedy… A small adapter inserted into the door will reduce the hole size so that your new door weather striping will fit and function like normal.

In the photo we compare the new (normal) white pin with the over-sized black pin that fits the unusual over-sized hole. They were likely built at a specific plant, but we have not been able to trace it back.

Thanks great advice and information. Working on installing a V8 in a 63 Chevy II, I have a 1994 5.7 do you know if the front sump pan you offer will work with that year motor?
