“I have bought several hard to find parts from GM Classics from hard to find bolts and retainers to radio brackets, engine plug wire retainers, exhaust shields, and other various parts.” – Patrick Newman

Fourteen years ago I bought this 1974 from a little old lady (88 years old!) in Irving, TX. It had 51k miles and was the definition of grandma’s grocery-getter Nova. The car was originally purchased new by the lady at a local Chevrolet dealer, Frank Parra Chevrolet, with yellow paint on a white interior.

When I bought the car it was the first time it had left Irving.

I drove the car for about two months and then started taking it apart to restore it. It took 12 years of on and off work to finish it. The car still has about 95% of the original parts! The car has done well in several shows including being featured on the Velocity channel, Menards Chevy Show, and winning a Dallas Autorama street machine award and overall street machine.

This is my 4th Nova that I have owned just have a soft spot for them.
