This 1962 build took quite a few years to get this far and no project is every really finished anyway… I’m currently on the third engine, second transmission, second rear end, and upgraded each time!
Two years in a row it has completed the Hot Rod Drag Week event (2018 3rd place), running mid 10’s and purring like a kitten on the street!
We will be making some more changes next spring to try and get closer to the elusive 9.99!
This 1962 is Pro Street, naturally aspirated car with 496 BBC, Lenco 4 speed, Centerforce clutch, Gear Vendors overdrive, 9″ rear end, ladder bar coil-over rear suspension with a Heidts front sub-frame conversion. Driver quality paint in marina blue, basic race/street interior with 10 point cage and a back seat.
Featuring Our Parts
All the rubber seals, fuzzies, bumpers etc, turn signal lenses, clutch pedal linkage and pedals, side mirrors, other stuff I already forgot about are all from GM Classics.
