This 1963 Nova Wagon still had all its original parts, including the original 283.

I bought it on a Thursday night in August of 2008 and raced the next day.  The car won third place at the Capitol Raceway with its original 283 and junkyard 350 turbo transmission!

Since then, this ’63 Nova has gone through some upgrades.

I did all of the machining and painting with my son, Matthew. It has all original GM body panels and floors. It was a no-rust car with no body work done.

I have progressively added to the care throughout the years. She now has:

  • Church Bros front suspension
  • Caltrac rear suspension
  • Mono leaf spring
  • Caltrac bar and sliders

We drive her daily in the streets!

I had to end last season early because of a cancer diagnosis and treatment, but I’ve finished all treatments and am looking forward to the 2023 season!
